In NY with Roberta Flack, celebrating the Sony Innovators Award shot. This award helped to launch then invisible career, and got signed to Atlantic Records through Ms. Sylvia Rhone...the rest as they say for now, is history, with more to come.

Only in NY can you just casually hang with some very important dudes; Lenny Green (WBLS), me, Duke Jones, Radio legend Vaughn Harper, Glenn Jones, Peabo Bryson, and photographer Ronnie Wright, who also shot the photo, delayed exposure, selfie-style.

A fun night of music, listening to the release of Grover Washington, Jr.'s "Time out of Mind". I arranged a piece on that project, as well as the next disc "Next Exit". Grover was dropping knowledge every time I hung with him. Gone too soon (RIP)

Had a chance to meet the great one on more than a few occasions. Playing his music with a great band was a fantastic night, one which won't be forgotten ever!
